Notice 7: Direction to Deposit Founding Instruments and Standing Decisions

The Official Register of the Velocity Interoperability Network, acting under the Rules of the Register made by Notice 5, directs every department and office of the Network and every shared service designated by Notice 3 to deposit with the Register, for entry, the instrument by which it was established and every decision of general application that it has taken and that remains in force.

Deposits are to be made in accordance with the procedure published under Depositing records on this site and are to be received by the Register no later than 1 December 2026. An instrument deposited under this direction is entered as a notice and takes effect as such from the date of entry; where the instrument itself records an earlier date on which it was made, the entry records both dates.

A department, office or service that has taken no decision of general application deposits a statement to that effect in place of such decisions. After 1 December 2026 the Register will publish, by notice, a list of the deposits received under this direction and of any body from which no deposit has been received.
