Notice 3: Designation of the Shared Services of the Network

The Ministry of the Velocity Interoperability Network gives notice that the following are designated as shared services of the Network, to be operated for the benefit of all member organisations: the identity service, which issues and verifies credentials for persons and organisations of the Network; the registry, which records member organisations, certified devices and compatibility marks; the developer portal, which publishes the standards of the Network and the tools needed to implement them; and the support service, which receives and resolves reports from members and the public.

Each shared service is operated by an office of the Network and is subject to the standards VIN-1 to VIN-5 adopted under Notice 2. Member organisations are required to use the designated services in place of any equivalent service of their own from 1 January 2027.

Service descriptions, terms of use and points of contact for each shared service will be published in this Register as they are settled.
